Yay or Nay?
Did a quick mock up. Let me know what you think of the colors, but remember its a horde army so I'm not going crazy on detail and it has to be quick and dirty. The second pic shows off the color of the cloth a bit better. I still think I may go a shade lighter though as I plan on washing everything with Devlan Mud (brown).

It's easy to see you're inspired by the IG - excellent! I like the colors. They look appropriately grunt-like and dirty. You dipping for that or using washes? It's working. Are you going to do any highlighting? Just one quick pass of a color or two would probably get them looking really really good, but they're certainly sharp where they are now.
ReplyDeleteI'm useing washes on them at present. As far as highlighting, I will be doing highlights on the hard edges and such when I start production on the infantry in full swing, right now I'm focused on the vehicle camo...but soon!
